Western Australian consumers can have full confidence buying Risen Energy Solar panels as the company has recently invested in a massive 132MW solar farm in Merriden WA. To put into perspective, that equates to around 26,500 x 5kWh Solar PV systems (5kWh = standard-sized residential solar PV system). In addition, because the system is being installed with a sun tracking technology system it is expected to produce enough power for 40,000 homes in Western Australia. This means that we Western Australians will be a lot less reliant on burning dirty coal and fossil fuel power generation – a WIN-WIN for all! Located in the sun-rich Wheatbelt region of WA, Risen Energy have promised to begin construction of what will be Western Australia’s largest solar farm by the end of the year and will be located near the state’s biggest wind farm (the 207MQ Collgar facility).
Unlike some of its competitors in the market who are involved in funding land mines (we won’t name and shame), this company is putting its money where its mouth is and actually investing in clean energy for we Western Australians – need we say more?
Clean NRG Solar’s research has proven to be on point once again only selecting quality brands with the longevity we know our clients look for in a solar PV system for their home or business.
One of the conditions of the project going ahead was that the panels were required to be using “Split cell mono PERC” technology. An Australian invention by the University of New South Wales mono PERC panels are a cut above the rest due to their higher efficiency – meaning you need fewer panels to generate the same amount of power and achieve the same results. Clean NRG Solar is now also embracing this technology offering these panels in our suite of tier 1 solar panels to Perth clients.
Not only does Risen Energy produce panels with efficiencies of up to 18.9% and have a 25-year performance warranty, but they are also one of the top 10 tier-1 manufacturers globally.
John Zhong, the head of project development and investment director for Risen Energy Australia, says construction is expected to begin before the end of the year and be completed 12 months later. “Risen Energy is going to invest progressively in an excess of 2GW of renewable projects in Australia with further investments in storage in the future,” said John. “We will be acquiring projects that are shovel ready, projects that are looking for financial and/or EPC partners projects that are looking for a co-developer.”
Merredin will be by far the biggest solar farm to be built in W.A.
Founded in 1986, Risen Energy specialises in R&D, sales and service of PV modules. As of 2018, the company has over 4,500 employees worldwide. They have an annual capacity of 4.5GW and has CNAS, TUV, PAHS and ISO certifications. Their solar panels undergo rigorous quality testing and validation.
These are some of the many reasons why Clean NRG Solar chooses Risen Energy as the preferred product, we hope you do too.
